Unai Emery gives update on Denis Suarez to Arsenal deal

Denis Suarez has been Arsenal's main transfer target in this January transfer window and Unai Emery has said that there are some private conversations going on.

The gunners have been linked with Barcelona’s Denis Suarez for about two weeks now and Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery has on Thursday confirmed that there is some private conversations between the two clubs as the loan deal nears completion.

Arsenal is lacking a natural winger because they only have Alex Iwobi and the Nigerian international is not consistent, the gunners have now identified Denis Suarez as the perfect candidate to bring to the Emirates Stadium in this January transfer window. Denis Suarez has found chances limited at Barcelona this season and is looking to get a team that will offer him enough chances to showcase his talent.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery held a press conference on Thursday ahead of their match against Chelsea and he was asked about the progress of the deal.

“They are conversations between us privately. I don’t want to say to you this private conversation with the club.” Unai Emery told Arsenal’s official website.

The gooners will be hoping that the club completes the deal as soon as possible because they have in the last few weeks lacked creativity in the final third, for example in their match at the London Stadium, they failed to create any chances in the second half hence losing to West Ham United.

Denis Suarez will probably join Arsenal before the end of next week but the question is, Is he a good signing for the gunners?
