Report: Arsenal Could Make Move For Barcelona Star Again

Many reports have claimed that Barcelona Star Andre Gomes is likely to leave the Camp Nou this summer as things seem to be falling apart for the player in the club.

But reports coming from Spain says that the midfielder is left aside of Barcelona’s squad that will go for the pre-season tour.

Gomes, is being dropped to complete his transfer and as it seems like he’ll likely leave Camp Nou in few weeks time since he  will want  regular playing time because he made just 6 starts in La liga matches for Barcelona last season.

Spanish outlet Sport has confirmed that Barcelona wanted £18million for Gomes, however the Catalonians are ready to let the player leave if there’s a serious bid around £16.

Arsenal still may feel £16million is steep for a player who made such a woeful performance last season because they have already completed five new signings in this transfer window with Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner joining the team.

Arsenal crushed eight goals past Boreham Wood in their first pre-season game with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring a hatrick in the space of 16 minutes.
